Aim of the research project is to propose a new high resolution multi-degree-of-freedom piezoelectric systems and their control method used for optoelectronic and optomechanic systems that are able to position lasers beam in the space, to adjust optical beam intensity, to stabilize and to control beam position under external disturbance.
Project funding:
This research project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund according to the 2014–2020 Operational Programme for the European Union Funds’ Investments, under measure’s No. 01.2.2-LMT-K-718 activity “Research Projects Implemented by World-class Researcher Groups”
Project results:
Expected scientific and technological results of the project:
(a) Prototypes for multi – DOF piezoelectric system with high resolution will be developed for adaptive laser lens alignment of
optoelectronic and optomechanic systems. Control and stabilization methods for piezoelectric systems will be proposed. Proposed systems will be available for commercialization.
(b) Piezoelectric system for light intensity control will be developed by controlling plane of polarization and optical beam position.
Proposed systems will be available for commercialization.
(c) Optical beam stabilization system will be proposed and analysed under influence of low and moderate destabilization frequencies.
Proposed systems will be available for commercialization.
(d) Structural schemes of piezoelectric deflector with unlimited rotation angle will be proposed. Also control systems for object tracking using laser will be developed and trajectory formation algorithms using optical beam will be proposed as well. Proposed systems will be available for commercialization.
